What Is the NCLEX?
The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is the official licensing exam for nurses who want to practice in countries such as the United States and Canada. It is designed to test whether a nurse is competent, safe, and ready for real-world clinical practice.
Types of NCLEX Exams
- NCLEX-RN: For Registered Nurses (RN). Most Ghanaian nurses will take this.
- NCLEX-PN: For Practical/Vocational Nurses. Less common for Ghana-trained nurses.

Scoring System
- The NCLEX is Pass or Fail.
- You are not graded based on percentage.
